Another Pretty Petals card

Here is another card using the Pretty Petals designer paper stack. I got the idea for this card from Christine Blain in her card seen here.
I used the Petite Petals stamp set for the flowers and have used Sahara Sand lace ribbon.

Pretty petals dsp card

Yesterday I had a craft day in Methven. Most of the ladies that braved the freezing cold and adverse conditions had a great day doing their own crafting activities. Usually I don't get much of my own projects done as  I help others or have a class going simultaniously. Yesterday I managed to make several cards using some of the new papers and stamp sets that I have acquired this past month.
The above card uses new designer paper and stamps from two sets.

Stamps:Watercolour wings, Build a birthday
Paper:Mint macaron, Black,Pretty petals designer paper stack, white
Ink:Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Black memento
Accessories: Bold ButterflyFramelits

Winter wonderland

Finally got power on yesterday after 4 days without from the snow last Thursday. Was good family time playing games together, kids helping with feed out and clearing driveways.
The pets in our front garden their electric fence had got buried in the snow.
Daughters igloo made with an ice cream container and snow.

Before the snow I had made a few cards using new products from the annual catalogue.
This card I showed on May 28th seen here. I used the watermelon wonder to colour the flower on that post this time I have used Blackberry bliss. It goes so well with the Mint Macaron and the Tip Top Taupe. I have attempted to do more shading on the flower with the Aqua Painters.

Watercolour Wings

I've had a day at home crafting. Got out a new stamp set called Watercolour wings. It has three step stamping of butterflies. Their is  matching thinlits to cut out the butterflies. You can also use the Butterfly  thinlits to cut out the butterflies.
Patty Bennett has put a video tutorial and colour combinations on her blog to show how this stamp set works. Here is the link to her blog here.
I have played with a couple of colour combinations today. On the above card I have used a new embossing folder that makes bricks. I lightly daubered the raised embossed lines with tip Top taupe to make the bricks more defined.
Stamps:Watercolour Wings, Butterfly Basics
paper:Daffadil delight, Black, White
Ink:Old Olive, Daffadil Delight,Crushed Curry, Momento Black, Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, Tip Top Taupe

Craft extravaganza

Yesterday six of us Demonstrators organised a day of crafting for our ladies. They got to make six projects during the day. While us demonstrators taught the same one six times.
This is the card that i taught using the mirror or reflection technique. Had a bit of daubering  on it to get the sky and sea. i used our blender pens( not to be confused with the blendabilities) to colour the goose in. The reflections were made using wax paper. Stamping the image on the waxy side then placing it upside down below the stamped image on the card matching the images up.The stamp is from the Wetlands set.

The other demonstrators taught these cards:
Angela  Meiritz- Reid made this card.
Carolyn  Bushby taught this card.
Michelle Jones taught this waterfall card,
Jo Bitmead taught this card
Sharyn Robertson made this cute box and matching card.

A lovely day had by all. We hope to do another Extravaganza in October with Christmas themed cards and projects.
