Season of Joy card
I have been experimenting this afternoon with this brayered embossing folder technique. When I first saw this technique I thought the actual embossing folder was brayered but you get a much better effect when you brayer after the embossing.
I ended up making several cards today while waiting for my son to come back from a cub do. He was home much later than expected so more time for me to practice this technique. Here is one of the cards that I made.
Stamps:Season of Joy
Paper:Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Ink:Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
Accessories:Brayer, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder,Modern label punch,
Scallop border punch

Get together
A group of ladies from one of my card classes got together last night to make a selection of cards for a friend who is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. We made mainly Thank you and childrens cards. It was really nice to be able to do something so practical for this lovely lady and as well have a fun time together creating.

Christmas cards from OSW
More cards made from One Sheet of cardstock stamped this time with Delightful Decoration stamps. I saw this colour combo on a SU demo site. It is Pear Pizzazz and Rich Razzleberry.
At my last class the ladies stamped their plain paper in the stamp set and colour of their choice. Two used this stamp set and used Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler looked great.
Two used Cottage Garden stamp set and Baja Breeze, Crumb cake and Basic Grey. ( Sorry no photos of these cards made up.)

Gift Voucher card
I held a craft day yesterday where ladies could spend the day making their own cards but using all my stamps, inks and Big Shot dies. They had a great time.
This is the inside of a card that the ladies made as a make n take. Its a card designed to hold a gift voucher in the middle.
Great idea for Christmas or birthdays.
The front is made using a tree stamp from Lovely as aTree and the Delightful Decoration stamp and punch. This is a picture of one of the three cards that I made. I had planned to make quite a few. Nevermind I had a lovely busy day anyway.
