Circle circus card

Its my nephews birthday today and this is the card that I have made for him. I cased the card off Stampinconnect made by Rachel Palmieri. It suits my nephew.
I haven't used Circle Circus stamp set for awhile so it was good to give it a dusting and make this card.
Colours I have used include: Island Indigo, Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade, Chocolate chip and More Mustard.
Sentiment is from Bring on the cake..

Field of Flowers

I have cased this card from Claire Daly. Her card is here.I used a different stamp set for the main image. I have used the lovely Field of Flowers stamp set. I love the two tone effect you get when this image is stamped. I have used Wisteria and Concord Crush. The little strips of dsp are from the designer paper that you can buy as a hostess only.
I have used a stamp (thanks) from the new Pretty Postage stamp set that is available in the mini catalogue. Also used are the 1" square punch and the stamp punch both available in the mini catalgue.

Suppose to be summer here and this morning we woke to a skiff of snow on the ground! Really cold too. Not good for the crops we want to harvest.

Build a blossom card

A friend and her daughter visited last week for a card making session. My friend made several cards using the build a blossom stamp set and punch. She used several colour combinations that looked really good. So not wanting to miss out I chose one of the colour combos she used and made my own card. The flower is stamped with Chocolate chip onto Cajun Craze. I have then put it on the First Edition dsp and then the base colour is Night of Navy. To finish off I used some Daffadil Delight ribbon and cardstock.
I haven't really used the Cajun Craze much so it was good to see how it would work on this card.

Another card that I made last week. I have cased this card off Teneale Williams.
The paper used is from pocketful of Posies. Stamp set is Forever Young. I have used Black satin ribbon to tie a bow.
First edition dsp makes for great backgrounds and is good to stamp on too.I'm enjoying this paper.

Beyond the Garden dsp

Last week I had my monthly stint doing volunteer work at out towns local craft shop. It was very quiet so I was able to put together these cards using the Beyond the Garden dsp that is in the current mini catalogue.
This is the first card that I made. Most of the cards that I made have been cased off Splitcoaster.Because the paper is quite detailed the cards required very little stamping.
This card uses Pacific Point cardstock.

November scrapbook page

This is my November layout for the Crafters Annonymous Scrapbook a month challenge. I have cased this layout idea of using First Edition dsp. I quite like the look that it gives especially as my photos have strong colours in them. The pets play a big part in my daughters life so hence another layout about the animals. They are all so cute.
I have used the distressing tool around the edges of the Dsp to give it added effect.
Now one more month to do.

Colour Challenge

NZSU have set a challenge this week to make a card using colour combination Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler and River Rock. This is what I came up with. River Rock is a colour I rarely use in fact I struggled to find any plain cardstock.
I have used the River Rock dsp from Naturals dsp papers.

Hello

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. Just back from a few days camping about 25 minutes from where we live. Harvest is a bit later this year so my husband was able to spend three nights with us. Usually he comes and goes depending what is happening on the farm. Always nice to get away for a few days and relax and do not a lot. We camp with friends on their section. We have a tent they are in caravans.

This card I am showing today was one that we made in my last class last year. Nice summer card and one to start the year off with. This Hello stamp is a ar-la-carte stamp in that you can buy it as it is , its not a part of a set. I have used my stampin write markers to colour it up. Papers are from subtles dsp pack.
