Shadow box picture

I made this shadow box a few weeks ago and realised I hadn't shared it here. I made a similar one in March using different colours. This is fun to make . The colours I have used are Melon Mumbo, old Olive and Basic Grey. I bought a cheap shadow box frame from Warehouse to put the picture in. The dsp that the squares are placed on is from the neutrals designer pack.Great way to showcase various punches and stamp sets.
I'm hoping to make one using Christmas stamps and accessories next.

Supercalif.................

Today it is my darling daughters 9th birthday. Ever since the children saw the Mary Poppins movie they've been able to rattle off this phrase. I can't get my tongue round the word but they can. So when I saw this card made by Diane Barnes I knew I would make it for Jessica's birthday.                                                                                                                                            Love the design ,colours and the butterflies.
It was a delight to see her face when I gave the card to her.
Happy Birthday my baby girl!

Button Buddies card

I cased this card from Chat Wszelaki blog . I liked the layout of the flowers from The Button Buddies stamp set. ( except I haven't used buttons or brads on my flowers.)
I stamped the words onto Marina Mist dsp.
Colours used are Island Indigo , Lucky Limeade and Marina Mist.
I embossed the white background with Polka dots.

I have my daughters birthday next week and a craft day here in Methven so have been preparing for them. As well as it is our wedding anniversary this weekend. we are planning to go to Akaroa but have heard the weather forecast where they are predicting snow on Banks Peninsula today sometime. Great. Will be interesting to see if any arrive there.
Hope you all have a good weekend.

Ice blocks anyone?

This card is made using a stamp from the autumn winter catalogue. Don't they look yummy. My kids wouldn't mind these anytime of year. And if you could smell you'd know they may taste like vanilla. New embossing powders that smell. Great for childrens cards with this stamp set.
I have used dsp from Twitterpated and the new pleated ribbon.
