These are some thankyou cards that I made for some ladies who put in some orders from me. I have cased the idea from someone. These are quick and easy to put together . Great way to use scrap dsp. The stamp set is Nature Walk. Brights dsp has been used with black cardstock. I have used watercolour pencils for a hint of colour on the stamped images.

A card for a sewer
When I saw this card on stampinconnect ( a demonstrators site) I had to have a go at making it. The card was made by Belinda Hennessey.
The stamps are from the Sew Suite set. The marina mist cardstock has been run through the lattice embossing folder. I have used Rose red to matt the marina mist. Buttons have been made by the button embosslit folder.

Birthday cards
Here are another couple of cards that I made for my father. I got the idea for these cards from the last round of Ustamp with Dawn. 12 cards were shown that you could make for the year, quick and easy to make up.I just chose three that I thought would suit dad.

Just for you
For my fathers birthday I made him a selection of birthday cards and cards like this that can be an anything card. He likes to give family members cards so I thought rather than him buy them he could have a ready supply. This is one of the cards that I made him. I saw this on Ustamp with Dawn.
Can you guess how the background is made where the bird is?
Well .. I have used a clear stamping block and have inked it using a stamping pad and then stamped it straight onto white cardstock. Great isn't it?
Stamps:Nature Walk, Just Believe
Paper:Early Expresso,White, Neutrals dsp
Ink:Early expresso,Old Olive,Rich Razzleberry
Accessories:Clear stamp block,StampinWrite markers

Male birthday card
It was my fathers 85th birthday yesterday. This is the card that I made him. Totally cased from Judy Beetson. We had a lovely dinner for him made up of Takeaways. ( His request, he enjoys Chinese food.) The day was slightly overshadowed by the fact that my mum wasn't there as she is in full time care.

Revisiting an old stamp set
I haven't used this stamp set in a very long while so I saw this card on Splitcoasters and cased it using Lap of Luxury dsp. I used this stamp set a lot when I first received it. So with an aunt in the Netherlands having a birthday this week I thought I'd use it to make her a card.
I have stamped the flowers on white cardstock then sponged colour on them.Colours used are Concord Crush, Pretty in Pink and Pink pirouette, with Basic Grey cardstock behind the dsp.

Play date cards
I have been having a play with this lovely dsp which makes lovely cards for boys. I've needed to replenish my male card supply so its been fun to play with these papers. I saw a card similar to this on SPC ( I think) so have changed the colours to come up with these.
The Create a cupcake punch is great with male or female cards.

Beautiful Butterflies
At our mini convention on Saturday we had time to make our own projects. One of our team members Jenny had made a card like this which I have copied except I have changed some of the colours.
I liked this card because it uses the Bevilled windowpane in a different way with a butterfly underneath it. This is the smallest size Bevilled pane and at first I thought I'd never use that size but now I can put tiny butterflies under it and make a nice card .
Stamp: Curly Cute
Ink: Early Expresso,
Paper:Early Expresso, Cherry Cobbler, Sunny Garden dsp, White
Accessories: Butterflies Embosslits, Jewels, Bevilled windowpane,White 1/4" ribbon'Stampin write mrker - Cherry Cobbler, scallop edge punch, mini dots, 2 way Glue pen

Butterflies
This lovely birthday banner was shown to us at Convention by Kirsty Brown.
It has been made with the Beautiful Butterflies die, Scallop circle punch and Timeless Junior Alphabet. This would also look great with a childs name on it for a bedroom door.
The butterflies have been joined together with brads, this makes it easy to fold away.
