Christmas gift card holder

At our last team meeting one of the ladies made this gift card holder out of an envelope. ( Sorry I lost the instructions including who had made this, if you know who made it could you email me the name and I can give credit to the designer.)
It's a great way to give a gift card  and so easy to make.I will be making and teaching this at my next class . I will make some birthday themed card holders too.

A very merry christmas

I really liked this card that I have cased because of the simplicity of it. A few elements and it looks great.I saw a this card and have added a border to it and changed the greetings.Great way to use up bits of Designer paper too.

oh no another hexagon card

This is a card that I have been teaching at a few of my classes this past week. The card design is from Mary Fish. I didn't have the ribbon that she used so came up with my own colour scheme. You can see her colour combination here.

A change from Hexagons

This card I have been teaching in my card classes this week. My sample had the white cut out ontop of the green. i got the ladies to make the card with the white under the green so that it had a more 3D look which is shown here.

This was my original sample. 3D looks much better.

Hexagon birthday card

I taught this card at one of my classes last week. i must say that there weren't many of the cards that ended up like mine as many of the ladies changed the colours so that it didn't have so many colours and others changed the layout. All looked good . I saw the idea of this on a blog  but have added the honeycomb embossing folder from the original and a coloured background cardstock.
A friend has her birthday this week so she will be the lucky recipient of this card.

Gift box

Last month I held a craft day and some of the ladies made these lovely gift boxes. Tanya Bell has a great tutorial on her blog demonstrating how to make these seen here.

The inside of the box.
This box is made using a single sheet of 12" x 12" dsp. No cutting, lots of scoring, little tape.
I have used Epic Day this and that dsp on this box.

I have used Gingham Garden dsp for this box.

Have had a lovely break away and am now trying to catch up with everything. Didn't help that due to high winds the power went off today and the children ended up with an extra day for their holidays.
