I have had a bit of time to have a play with some of the products in the new mini catalogue. SEveral new products are featured in this card that i have made. New embossing folder called Filigree Frame and a new stamp set called Festival of trees which also comes with a matching punch.
I have used the Dazzling Diamonds in Cherry Cobbler to put on the embossing folder.

I love this card using two of my favourite stamp set s from the annual catalogue, Kinda Eclectic and Bloom with hope. I saw this card made by Becky Roberts here. I have used different stamp and have changed it slightly including some of the colours.

This is a card that my card class tomorrow are making. I've made several of these scallop punch cards. this time I have used the new in colours designer patterned paper, Lost lagoon.

Flowerpot dsp card

Today I am talking at the local Friendship group about cardmaking. After sharing what is involved to make a card I thought the ladies could make a card, this one.I have cased this from Susan Lankford seen here. I have used different sentiments and have less flowers on mine. But I liked the way it looked with the designer paper and then only requiring a little stamping to complete it.
This designer paper, Flowerpot, is quite busy but with small amounts used on the card it actually makes a good focal point.

Little gift bags

These cute little gift bags are made using the paper stacks Abloom and Moonlight both in the annual catalogue. Becky Roberts has a tutorial here on how to make them.
I have put little cello bags of jelly beans inside.

Bloom with hope

This is a card that we made at a party last week. I cased it from Leonie Schroeder with a few changes.
Instead of leaving the background plain I stamped it in the same colour as the cardstock Blackberry bliss using the Bloom with Hope stamp set. This is a hostess only set which is lovely.

Hip Hip hooray mini album

I finally had a go at making this lovely little mini album that Delys Cram had shared ages ago. She has provided a really good tutorial on how to make this album using the Hip Hip Hooray Card kit.You can see the tutorial here.
The Hip Hip Hooray card kit has  supplies and stamps to make 20 cards or you can use some of the envelopes and card bases to make this mini album. Cost $38.95 for the set.

I have used the postage stamp punch to make inserts for the little tags to go in for journalling.

Craft Day

A group of us demonstrators from Christchurch ran a craft day. The ladies came and made 6 projects on the day and enjoyed a lovely lunch as well.
This is the card that I demonstrated using Hardwood stamp and the new Kinda eclectic stamp set.
It wasn't all cards ,the ladies made a box for cards a gift box and a 3D card.
It was a most enjoyable day .
