All a bloom with Kinda Eclectic

I saw this card on Christy Fulk blog and liked the colour combo and use of dsp and the Hardwood stamp. You can view her card here
I didn't have the floral stamp set that she had so I used the bloom head from the Hostess only floral stamp set Bloom with Hope.

Faux Patina technique for Christmas cards.

I have been playing with this technique faux patina and using different colour combinations. This is quite a fun technique to use to make your own background paper. in this card i used Crumb cake as the base then sponged on Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler.I used silver embossing powder as well.

This card has gold embossing powder on it and is stamped with baubles from the new stamp set in the holiday catalogue called Cheerful Christmas

Ink,spray emboss technique

This is a new technique that I tried where you put different colour inks in an embossing folder then spray it with water then place your watercolour paper in it. Then press with fingers to get the colours and pattern onto your paper. I made this card from the technique shown here .

This was my first sample wasn't quite as happy with this as the above one.

I've had this stamp set for awhile and have only just inked it up. I taught this card in a class this week with sponges. Makes a lovely sympathy card or a male card.

Age Awareness birthday

I haven't blogged any cards for awhile now due to going on holiday. We had a lovely time away at Kaiteriteri and Golden Bay.
This card I cased from Leena Girsa seen here.
It uses the stamp set Age awareness and the Hearts and Stars Decorative Mask. The mask is like a stencil which I used daubers of different colours to colour the stars.
