Candle wreaths

Twice last week a needed gifts for crafting friends get togethers. This year I decided to make another type of wreath. This is a candle holder wreath using very small polystyrene wreaths. I have used dsp from Winter Wonderland Specialty paper series.Added some tinsel and baubles and of course the candle. looks great. Have to make some for myself now.

At this time of year Thank you cards are often in need. I cased this card from Jan McQueen , as seen here.
 I have embossed the white background and used Cherry Cobbler twine instead.Colour combination is : Cherry Cobbler, Delightful Dijon, Tip Taupe and Mossy Meadow.

Merry Christmas in colours

Just had my last card class today. Then we went out for lunch after. It is so hot here today its been hard to find a place that is cool enough. We made this card today. I have cased it from Dana Pavoni. You can see her card here. 

I have changed the colours and have used the latest incolours, Cucumber Crush and watermelon Wonder.  I also have embossed my  white card using Boughs and Berries.

The letters are from the stamp set Layered Letters Alphabet. The stampset also includes the solid block in which the letters are stamped onto.

Mini boxes for Mini bars

These are some cute little boxes I made . They are big enough to fit a mini size Whittakers bar. If you pull the ribbon up the bar pops out. Sharyn Robertson showed us these boxes at our last team meeting in October.

I'd seen a couple of cards using the Wonderous Wreath stamp set embossed in layers.
The first layer I used White embossing powder, second layer gold and the third layer uses Cherry cobbler. Joy is cut out using gold foil.It teams well with the embossing folder.
