Birthday cards

This card uses some of the new Dsp Bithday specialty and the a stamp set from sale-a-bration. I have white embossed the stamped image onto the new Chalkboard card that is in the Occasions catalogue.

In this card i used some of the chalk ink. Not quite as bold. Both cards use ribbon from sale-a-bration.

Yay..Happy Birthday

Last night we hada team meeting in Christchurch which unfortunately I was unable to attend. However I did make a swap for the ladies.

This card is made using the Balloon Bash stamp set from the Occasions catalogue.

Butterfly Basics

This is my first play with this stamp set Butterfly Basics. I actually cased this from Karen B Barber. I am more into clear lines rather abstract but I liked this card and thought I'd give it a  go. I used the Blendabilities to colour in the flowers and the leaves.The butterfly is cut out using thinlit dies with.
Butterfly Basics is in the new occasions catalogue and is a lovely set that goes with the Butterfly thinlits.

Balloon bash meets Blendies

This is an interesting card that I partly cased from Angela Lorenz. You can see her card here.
This card has been stamped with Balloon Bash in Versamark then embossed with white embossing powder.
The interesting part is how the colour comes on to the image.
Blendabilities are the colouring tools.Great isn't it?

The Blendabilities can be  obtained free as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion. Spend $110 and you can get one packet of colours for free. Also in the new occasions catalogue their are 4 new colours added to the range. These colours are lighter colours from the Subtles family.

Another new stamp in the Occasions catalogue. From the Herd.
I have coloured in the animals using the Blendabilities. I have used the Hardwood stamp to make it look 3D.

Thank you cards

These thank you cards are made with a selection of different colours. Each of these Lotus flowers is made up of two colours. Not sure what my favourite colour combination is.

A calm sea.....masculine card

Here is another card that uses paper from the adventure Bound designer paper stack. It goes well with the sentiment from the Adventure Awaits stamp set.
I had some of the sea paper left over so made this card that I cased from Linda Higgins seen here.

Have just changed it slightly, have used gold ribbon instead of a thinner ribbon.

Adventure Bound

Adventure Bound is the name of the new Designer Series Paper Stack absolutely ideal for making male cards. You don't really need to add much to them to make a nice card.
I cased this card from Brian king but have added the linen thread and the antique brad to it.The words have been embossed with white powder and they come from the Sale-a-bration stamp set Big day.

Irresistibly Yours.....

Another Lotus Blossom card. This time I have used another product that is in the Sale-a-bration brochure. The background paper is from a series of white glossy patterned paper called Irresistently Yours. All the sheets are white with six different designs on them. I have used a dauber to bring up the pattern on this paper.
The Lotus flowers are coloured using two colour combinations: Perfect Plum and Elegant eggplant and So Saffron and Crushed Curry.

More Lotus Blossom cards

This is another card that I have made using the Lotus Blossom stamp set. i have teamed it up with another Sale-a-bration product , Best year ever designer paper.The colours I have used on this flower are Crushed Curry and So saffron.

This card I used Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana.
Look great.

One of the new products on offer in the Sale-a-bration brochure is this lovely stamp set Lotus Blossom.This stamp involves three step stamping. You can use two colours or just one colour. In this card I have used one colour Blackberry Bliss.You get the look of three colours with only one or two colours. You stamp off the lighter colour before stamping the main project.
If you spend $110 you can get this stamp set for free.

Finally had a chance to use some of the new products from the new Occasions catalogue. I have totally cased this card from the catalogue.
