Fancy frost dsp card

Its been a while since I have blogged. School plays and breakups and other Christmas , end of year functions have got in the way of blogging and creating.Yesterday afternoon I had a couple of hours to make a few more Christmas cards and gifts.

This card uses Fancy Frost Specialty Designer paper. This dsp is white with an embossed pattern on it that when inked shows up. I have used the new brayer on this with Marina Mist ink.
Works well with the Stars from Starlight Thinlits .

Medley Christmas card

I made a few of this card design yesterday using copper embossing powder and the copper foil. Earlier in September I had used this Medley stamp with just ink but the embossing powder makes it really pop.

Christmas Collage

I have had a busy week doing everything but crafting. Haven't stepped foot into my craft room all week until today. Been cycling on the West Coast and then did an overnight tramp with my ladies walking group as well as taking my guides bushwalking.

This is a collage I have put together for a class this week. Using a mixture of Christmas stamps and thinlits.

I have used the new stitched framelits around the border of each square. These are in the new seasonal catalogue but unfortunately the supplies of them have already run out. So we are waiting to see when they will come back in stock. They do add something to your projects. they come in oval, circles and squares.
