Mixed Borders new colours

Here is another sample of a card that I made for Onstage. I got the idea for this from STampin'Up! Success. I made the card Landscape and used the Mixed Borders stamp set.

This is the same card using colours that are coming in the new Catalogue. Looks really effective with the different colours.

The stamp set makes a good background on your cards. The words are also part of the stamp set.

This is another card that we made at a class a few weeks ago using the Party Wishes Pop Up Framelits. Great set as it makes cards that you don't have to do any stamping on if you don't want.

On Stage Auckland

Just back from On stage in Auckland. went up for the day. Great day out despite having to do a Presentation on a Product.

My name and title on the big Screen. Can't show you yet what I made yet but that is the reason why I haven't been blogging as much due to making samples from the stamp set that I received for Onstage.
We got our hands on the new annual Catalogue. So exciting. Have to wait too before you see that.
It was a full on day at Onstage but really good. Great presentations highlighting new products. Always good to catch up on team members but found there wasn't really enough time for much chatting. Next time I go I think I will stay overnight.

On your special day

Yesterday at a class I held we made this card that I had seen Jan Dwight, a past team member had made.I changed my card a little from her sample in that I used the Burlap Ribbon behind the flowers and words.
I really went for the Tangelo Twist coloured flowers as this is a colour I rarely use.As it will be retiring in May I thought I should try using it. It works well with the Old Olive and Mossy Meadow (also retiring) leaves.The words are from a sale-a-bration stamp set now retired.
