Anniversary card

This is one of the cards that I made for the show. Had to make an Anniversary card. I saw a card similar to this when blog hopping. I have used some new products found in the latest seasonal catalogue.

St Patricks day card

Today is my brothers birthday and being St Patricks day thought I'd make his card with a green theme. I made this card with different colours in November for another males 50th birthday.
 Today is also a girlfriends birthday so will show her card later.

Cupcake card

Well we had alovely day at the Methven show, weather was great and lots to see and do.
This card is another card that my daughter made and entered into the show. She received first place for it.
She was quite particular about what paper she wanted to use. This paper comes from the Kaleidoscope series.And she wanted the Bermuda Bay for its base.

I won several prizes with cards, scrapbooking, cooking, photos, knitting and x stitch. Being the 100th year celebration enteries for the show were well up on previous years.
I will show you some of the cards that I had made over the next few days.

Night Owl

This is a card that my 10 year old daughter made for the show. But we both had misread the section. it was to be a handmade card BUT the materials would be supplied. We couldn't find any other category to put this card in. Real shame. So will show the other cards that she made after the show.
I thought  she had done a good job. The photo doesn't show but the moon has actually been punched out of the black.

So I think we are all ready for the show tomorrow. Finished the harvest in time. Now hoping the weather will co-operate for the day.

50th anniversary

For the Methven A and P show tutors and instructors of card making have their very own catagory . This year we are to make anniversary cards. This card didn't quite make the grade for me. But I thought I would show it anyway. I think their are only two of us who enter that catagory .
This card uses some of the gold foil that carried over from the previous catalogue. The hearts were stamped with Hearts a Flutter stamp set.
