What a day

Well what a day. We've had real blizard like conditions today. The wind has been so bitterly cold. We have received about 3-4 inches of snow. The children have enjoyed a day off school. Haven't made a snowman yet as it keeps on snowing, just when you think its clearing up another shower comes through.
We had a bit of a gap this afternoon to let the animals have a run round with the children. Billy the cat liked sitting on top of the silage, happy to watch the goats.

This is a card that we made at my last card class. This side step card was one of the projects that Bron Heslop made for UStamp with Dawn earlier in the year.
I have used the retired motorcycle from the last mini catalogue. This stamp worked well on this card. The image was stamped onto watercolour paper and then Marina Mist ink was used to colour parts in using an aquapainter.
I have used the spritzer to make it look like gravel under the bike.A piece of white cardstock was placed inside the card and this was also spritzed.

  1. Very effective with the motorbike :) I hope you're managing to keep warm.
