Another Fresh Vintage card
This is a lovely card that I have cased from Cindy Elam. I loved the style and the way Fresh Vintage stamp has been used. I used the sizzlit die from Lots of Tag set to cut out the centre. And having the cardstock run through the lattice embossing folder appealed to me as well.
Love the colours too: Pool Party, Soft Suede, Early Expresso and Pear Pizzazz.
The Fresh Vintage stamp was inked with Baja Breeze, So Saffron and Lucky Limeade.

Sneak Peak
Here is another peak at the Framelits that are coming out in the next mini catalogue. I have cased this card because I liked the simplicity of it. I have used strips of designer paper from the Subtles dsp. The flowers are from the Saleabration stamp set Fresh Vintage which is only available until the end of the month. The brad is from the Subtles set.

Collage picture
I saw these collage picture frames on Rita Wrights blog and thought I'd love to have ago.
This is very similar to hers except I have changed some of the pictures in the squares. I really enjoyed putting this together and have a couple more in the pipeline including a Christmas version. I have put it in a photo frame that can either stand up or hang on the wall.
Coloure used in this picture are: So Saffron, Cherry Cobbler and Early Expresso.
Have used a variety of stamp sets and punches.

Another baby card
Another card that I made for the show. The boottee are made from the stitched stocking stamp set and punch. Unfortunately this set will not be seen again after the current mini catalogue finishes. Bit disappointing!
I have finished the boottees off with a row of rhinestones on the top fold.
Colours used are Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz.

Baby tee card
Here is another of my show cards. This year they exempted tutors from entering the general card sections and made a special category, baby cards for us. I have used the Baby tees wheel to make this card and have used water colour pencils and aqua painter to colour the tees in.
I have used the Marina Mist 11/4" ribbon with Daffadil Delight 1/8" ribbon in the centre.
The words are from the Pennant parade stamp set.

Card Challenge
At the show on Saturday one of the catergories for the cards was to make a card out of supplied products. We had to use 50% of the dsp, all the ribbon the insert and the base cardstock. So this is what I came up with. I had seen something like this on a blog and as soon as a saw the paper I knew the rocket from the retired Pun Fun set was the stamp that I was going to use. We also had to supply an envelope as well.
Great to see the different cards that people came up with.

Well I havehad a really busy few days. Friday was spent baking for the Methven show and setting up a display advertising StampinUp. Saturday was the show a beautiful day except a lot of the farmers disappeared after lunch to go harvesting including our men folk.
I was a steward in the arts and craft section so spent all morning in the "shed" helping with that. After lunch my daughter and her pet goat went in the grand parade. Millie the goat hasn't been used to a lead for along while so I went along as back up.
Jessica was given this lovely pink hat for a prize for her goat. She was so excited because its her favourite colour and it had a goat embroidered on it.
Then my son with a few friends entered into the Top Team competition. They did really well in their heats and came 2nd in the finals. One of the manyy activities they had to perform.
As for me I did really well in all my crafts and most of my baking did ok. Its funny I usually make the same few baking items with the same recipe , and one year i will get a prize and the next not. All depends on the judge on the day .
So all in all it was a great day.
Meanwhile the men harvested until the next morning at 5 . Had a couple of hours sleep and then back into it by 9:30 after a wee repair job.We all helped yesterday to get the last of the wheat harvested. And now I can finally say harvest has finished. What a frustrating drawn out harvest it has been. But I have to say it has probably beeen our best harvest because of the yields we have received.
Pop back later and I will show some of my craft items from the show.

Gift Vouchers
This year at the Methven show I am sponsoring a couple of the card making sections. I have made these cards which hold the gift vouchers. I have used the Beyond the Garden dsp and the Field of Flowers stamp set.
This year the show have exempted instructors and tutors form entering the general card making sections and have given us our own section for making a card. We are to make a baby card. (Can't show you yet in case my sister in law, the other competitor sees it !)
I still have a scrapbook page to complete and all the baking to do on Friday. My daughter is entering a couple of cards too as well as her goat in the pet parade. Going to be a busy day and if the weather is fine the men hope to be harvesting. What a trying year it has been to try and get the crops harvested.

Card Class sample
On Wednesday I have a card class and this is one of the cards that we will be making. I have used Beyond the Garden dsp . Teamed it with the new embossing folder from the current mini catalogue.Colours used are Melon Mambo, wild wasabi and white.
The sentiment is stamped with words from one of the Sale-a-bration sets Elementary Elegance.
Love using the postage stamp punch. I have then mounted the words onto a scalloped square.
Only two weeks left to earn a free sale-a-bration product, and only two weeks left to be able to purchase products from the current mini catalogue.

Thinking of you
I needed a sympathy card this week for a lovely lady who loved the colour purple. In her death notice people were asked to wear something purple and her casket was to be purple. I saw a card like this in our catalogue with purple on it using this stamp set , Thoughts and Prayers. I have changed it a little from the one in the catalogue. Colours used are Soft Suede,Concord crush, wisteria and Pear pizzazz.

Photo Star
Over on Crafters Anonymous on Monday this Star was the tutorial taught by Tia. I didn't do the class then but was able to download the tutorial later. When I saw the star I was keen to have a go at making it. I really enjoyed putting this together. I have used photos from our trip to Oz last year. I think the hadest part was finding photos that fitted into the shapes.
I have used Rich razzleberry as the card stock and the dsp is from Pocketful of Posies.
I may put some words on it describing our trip.
