Craft Market

On Sunday held in conjunction with a Farmers market their was a craft market in Methven. We had our stalls outside. Then just as it was about to start it started drizzling.(This photo wa taken just before that). Fortunately another stall holder had a spare gazebo which a couple of us were abl;e to get under. So here is my table of goodies.Bit of everything.
Here are some of the santa gift boxes I made. ( Have seen a few on other blogs). they are big enough to fit a Roses chocolate. Great for the tree or as a table setting.I have made lots of these Candy Cane mice these past month. I gave one to each of the children in my Bible in schools class, plus have had two stalls lately selling them . Always a hit with the children.

Welcome Christmas

This card is made from the stamp set Welcome Christmas which is half price this month. Great value. Today is the first day that I have used this set. This card I have cased fromJen Sannes blog. I made three cards all with different colours.
I can't decide which colour combo I like the best: Island Indigo, Riding Hood Red or Wild Wasabi on Early Expresso.

Glitter stockings

I taught this card in my last class yesterday, its a design I have seen on some blogs. The ladies loved the Glitter paper that was used for the top of the stocking and heels and toes.
This Glitter paper is one of the new products in the mini catalogue that came out on the 1st December. Also comes in red as well.
Colours I have used are Riding Hood Red and Lucky lemonade.

Something different

Whilst on holiday on the Gold Coast I found a craft shop at Ashmore ( right near we were staying). A little shop packed full of all sorts of goodies. I saw this product which is very much like our Peelcraft and liked how it was used. So I bought a few sheets and some gel pens and in the evenings at our camp I coloured in these words. I have put the stickers onto Acetate to enable me to colour in the image.
Then using SU papers and cardstock and ribbon have put the card together.
Letters to Santa dsp has been used.

Photo Cube

On Sunday afternoon we had a Christmas afternoon tea with Santa and a group of ladies who all do scrapbooking together. We have started a tradition of having Christmas party at the end of the year and with all of us being very crafty we have to make a gift for another recipient. Names are drawn out of a hat.
This is the gift that I made. Its a photo cube. I saw this made on UStamp with Dawn in the Big Shot Brilliance round designed by Kirsten Brown.
It involves a 6 pieces of 6x6 dsp folded in a fancy way which achieves the diamond shape on the cube for your photos.
Then with a little decoration its finished. To give out the gifts Santa came. We could sit on his knee and he asked us all what we would like for Christmas and what we were doing for the day. Lots of laughs. Lovely afternoon with lots of yummy food and a you could have a wee boat ride as well as the house was a t a lake that had many canals with houses backing onto it. Thanks Faith for a lovely afternoon.
