Black Magic Technique

This card is a sneak peek at one of the techniques we will be doing in my October classes.
Its a fun technique but so effective. Upsy Daisy stamp set lends itself well to this technique.
We're off on holiday very soon ( as soon as the paddocks are rolled). Heading to the deep south , to Te Anau, as long as their isn't too much snow their. Will be away all school holidays.

Punch Potpourri

These cards and box are a set I made as a hostess gift , I made another set as door prize for a workshop that I held today.
The stamp set used is the Level 1 Hostess set Punch Potpourri. The stamps fit perfectly 4 punches; two step bird punch, butterfly punch, Boho Blossom punch and the heart punch.
The box is made using two scallop envelope bigz dies. Tied round the box is some Pear Pizzazz ribbon.
This was a great way to showcase the new in colours.
Also used were words from the Perfect punches set and Level 3 Hostess set Occasional Quotes.

In Colours

Finally My big box of goodies arrived with new products from the latest catalogue. I've had a wee play with some of the products. I really like this ornament punch which can be used to punch out Christmas ornaments from the Delightful Decorations
stamp set or it can be used as a vase as in this photo.
I have used two of the new in colours, Concord Crush and Pear Pizzaaz ( aren't they lovely together). The two wee flowers are stamped with Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait.
The in colour ribbons are lovely with the stitched edges and different texture.
The stamp in the vase is from Pocket Silhouettes.
Well time to go and 'play" some more.

Christmas Card Class

Today I held my first Christmas card class. I was hoping to use new papers and stamps from the new catalogue, but as yet they have not arrived. So it was back to the drawing board for some inspiration using stamps and paper that I had on hand. This card uses the Christmas Classics stamp set, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder ( One of my favourite folders).
I cased this one from SCS using the Polka dot and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I have used SU gold paper for the oval scallop. Flowers were made using the five Petal flower punch. Glitter was placed in the centre of the flowers. The sentiment is from a retired hostess set, Three Punches. The centre part of the stamp was coloured in using Stampin write markers then cut out.Leaves were made using the Little Leaves Sizzlit die.

Calendar Pages

Here are a couple of pages from one of the calendars made on Saturday. We had a good morning making them despite the very early wake up. (the Earthquake) Only one lady couldn't make it because of that. I had 4 children attend the class. I find it interesting having children in the class as they totally do their own thing ,never look at the sample I had done but just have fun creating their own individual calendar. Whereas the ladies mostly copy exactly what I had done with a few minor changes. Interesting!

Birthday Calendar

This is one of the pages in my Birthday Calendar. I have organised a class to make this project this coming Saturday. Each page uses different stamps. This is a great Christmas project. If you would like details on how to make this contact me.
