Wedding card

On Tuesday when it was wet I ended up making the samples for my February classes. Wedding and cards related to love; engagement and anniversary card and/or Valentine cards.
Here is a sample of one card I made.
I have wheeled So swirly in versamark then embossed it with White powder. Then with a dauber I have put Real Red over it. I used the Full heart punch to make the hearts. The bride heart has been embossed with dots.
Sentiment from Heard from the heart.
The Sweetheart special starts today and runs until the 25th January. If you purchase the Sweetheart stamp set ( found on page 38 in 2010-2011 Idea and Catalogue book) or the Full heart Punch you will get FREE Heart Treat cups.
You can see the details for this special here.
Contact me if you want to know more about this special or to place an order.

Calendar Page

I have been busy making two calendars for my mum amd mother-in-law. This is something I have been doing for the past 6 years. I put photos of the children doing various activities through out the year. (This year I'm way behind schedule.)
The pages are 9" x 9". I made my own calendar grid stamped with Full Calendar stamp set.
This page I have used the Itty Bitty Bit stamp set which is in the new mini catalogue. They are quite cute and just add to the page.
I have used the Eyelit border, crimped it then eased it around the circle. And of course the two step bird punch.
I better go and fill in the calendar now with the days of the week and numbers before I forget like I did last year.

I like to wish you all a very happy and blessed Christmas and a safe and Happy New year.My blogging will be scarce over the holiday period as we start harvest within the next week. Thank you for looking and comments.

Builder wheel cards

I am enjoying playing with these Builder wheels. There are three basic ways that you can ink them up. You can just use your ink pads and run the wheel along that using 1-3 of the wheels, or you can use a jumbo ink cartridge that sits in the wheel and again use either 1,2or 3 of the wheels. ( There are spacers that you can put in the handle if only using 1 or 2 wheels), or you can purchase a cartridge that has three seperate cartridges that fit in the handle and using the reinkers you can have three different colours going at once.
I just love this Lattice embossing folder it just adds to the background of cards.

Day 12 Tree Ornament

Todays Christmas craft is a Folded Wreath Ornament. Its fairly easy to make and an excellent way to use up scraps of Designer papers, as you only need 8 pieces of 2" x 4".
I found a tutorial on this from Gretchen Barron.
I hope you have enjoyed my 12 Days of Christmas crafts. If their is anything you want to know about the crafts or on how to make them , please contact me.

Day 11: Decorated tin

I have decorated this tin (tin that had Corinthians chocolate cream wafers in it) with Jolly Holiday dsp,and ribbon including the new Chantilly crotchet trim.
The bow on top is made from 2cm wide varying lengths of paper that is twisted to give the pointed look. These tins are not very expensive from most Supermarkets or The Warehouse. They can be decorated empty ( put your own treats in) or full.
At our last team meeting Sonia Cullen showed us some of these tins that she had decorated.

Day9: Christmas Tree

This is my version of a boxed advent Christmas tree.I have seen a couple similar to this on stampinconnect and Kerryn Campbell site.
The box opens to reveal maybe chocolates or some other treat. The paper used on the row of four is non SU paper. The other paper used is Jolly Holiday and Woodland Walk dsp. Various stamp sets were used.

Day 8; Christmas cards

Another batch of One Sheet Wonder (OSW) cards. Short on time these are easy to whip up. I have used Garden Green and Real Red and the Delightful Decorations stamp set.
I only stamped half of an A4 paper to make these.
The other sheet of cardstock was stamped by my 7 year old daughter. She chose the colours and stamped it all. The colours are Marine Mist, Early Expresso and Peach Parfait. The colours actually look really good together. We've just got to put the finishing touches to those cards .

Day 7 : Gift Tag Wallet

At our last Team Meeting, Carolyn Young gave us these lovely gift tag wallets.
I used this for my make n take last night at a Workshop. We made 4 tags using various stamp sets. These included Season of Joy, Christmas Classics, Delightful Decorations and Cottage Garden.
The outside is made using 4 of the new larger scallop punch and a little gold smooch spritz..The outside of the wallet has been wheeled with So swirly.
This took a while to make with lots of punching out but such a neat idea to store tags.
Thanks Carolyn.

Day 6: Santa gift box

This is a really cute Santa gift box. I obtained the tutorial for this earlier in the year as part of a fundraiser for a boy
in Australia called Hunter. You can make a whole family of these boxes which include Mrs Santa, Jingle the Elf, Rudolph and a snow man. Don't know if I will get time to make them all, but they would look cute sitting on the Christmas dining table on Christmas day.
The face of Santa could be used just as a card.

Day 5: Christmas star

This lovely Christmas star , made with Jolly Holiday designer papers was a tutorial from Crafters Annyomous. A few folds , bit of tape, and here it is. I will definitely be making a few more of these maybe with a different colours.

Day 4: Christmas stocking

This Christmas stocking can be either a card or a card holder or just purely an ornament to hang on your tree. So easy to make. I found the template for this here.
The green leafed card is to show how a gift voucher would sit inside.

Day 1, Christmas ideas

Over the next 12 days I plan to post a different Christmas idea each day .
Here is todays.
Two Fancy Favour gift boxes
Using the Fancy Favour die I have cut two boxes, one in cardstock and the other using Jolly Holiday dsp. The dsp is cut without the flaps so that it slides over the top of the made up cardstock. Ribbon is tied on the top and when you place sweets (or whatever) inside the box you have to lift the dsp off and not have to untie the ribbon.
If you would like more details on how to put this together please contact me.
