Each year I give my father a selection of my cards to use for birthdays. Earlier this week while visiting him he claimed I hadn't given him many sympathy cards.
So thought I better remedy that. I made a couple of cards using the same stamp set but with different backgrounds.Love and sympathy stamp set and Thoughts and Prayers are the two stamp sets that I have used.
This first card I used someof the new dsp in the new seasonal catalogue.
This card I used a aqua painter and just painted three colours to the cardstock. I have used Crumb cake, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder. I saw this colour combination on a card but it had been put on with a block.

I have had a chance to craft today and play with some of the new goodies that I received last week in a BIG brown box. The box contained new designer papers, new stamps, new punches and some Sale-a-bration products.
This is the first card that I made using new designer paper. I based this card on a design that I had seen Amy Koenders make. Have totally changed colours and used a current stamp set.
So then I decided to make another card same design but different designer paper but still from the same pack. And this time I used a stamp set that is in the current seasonal catalogue which ends in a few weeks time.
In the top card I used Early Expresso and Coastal Cabana, the bottom card I have used Early expresso and Bermuda Bay.
Yesterday afternoon was wet so I thought it would be a good time to tidy up my craft room. well i didn't get very far. A while ago I had borrowed a team members pop'n cut diez. I had cut out several of these fronts but hadn't gotten round to doing anything with them. so guess what I did yesterday afternoon?
Made up two cards using the pop 'n cuts diez.I got the idea for these cards from Tina Rappe as seen here.
Here is the first card.
I have used Raspberry Ripple cardstock, Birthday basics dsp and several stamp sets: Simply Sketched, Create a cupcake and Bring on the cake.
This is the second card that I made using Real Red cardstock and I am Me dsp.
Last year I made several of these label thinlit calendars for my downline. This is a completed one that I have kept for myself with a photo on it.I have used different colour combinations on each calendar.
