Another card we did at card class last week. I got the idea from Carolyn King her sample is here.
I'm enjoying using this dsp from Its my Party. The stamped words are from a sale-a-bration set which unfortunately is no longer available called Sky is the Limit.
I taught this card at a class this week. The colours on this card make it an any age card for a male.I first made this card without embossing the background but found it too plain. Embossing the background really gives it more zing.
Don't you think?
Today I spent some time with my two downlines learning computer stuff. I have learnt how to watermark my cards.Though I haven't quite perfected it yet .And I have learnt how to show the products used in first card.
This is a card I have made using the designer series paper stack It's my party. Its lovely paper that requires little or no extra stamping. On this card I have used the words from Number of Years stamp set. The numbers are framelits that you can purchase as a bundle along with the stamps Number of years.
This is the male version of the same card using the reverse side of the dsp from Its my party.
Birthday Blooms is another lovely stamp set in the seasonal catalogue. You can waterpaint the images or use stampinwrite markers. This first card I watercoloured using watermelon Wonder. The dsp is from the Naturals designer paper stack.
Pic of the Week Award
This card I coloured the flowers sung the Stampinwrite markers. I used Soft sky and Pool party. The dsp on this card is paper that you can earn free during Sale-a-bration.
Here is a card that I have used the Balloon Celebration stamp set. I got the idea for this card from Belinda Hennessey but she had used a differnt border around her card and different colours. Stamps:Balloon Celebration Paper:White cardstock, Elegant Eggplant Ink:Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, hello Honey, Black
Rose wonder is a stamp set which comes with matching framelits. The only stamping I did on this card was the sentiments. I have cut the rose out in both black and gold paper. Then I have put the gold pieces into the black frame. Bit like doing a jigsaw puzzle matching the right pieces to the right gap.
This is the other card in reverse .
