Challenge card

This is a card that I made as part of a crad making challenge for the Methven Show. We were given the green florish, black card and the With sympathy words precut out. This is what I came up with, using the Field Flowers stamp set. Was great to see the many different ways these three elements were used. Gluing or sticking down the words was the most challenging. And I ended up being penalised because my 'h' in sympathy wasn't stuck down properly.
The flowers were stamped using Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant.
Thanks Elsa for the challenge.

Swallowtail embossed

I saw a card made similar to this with white embossing. I thought I'd try the card using Tangerine Tango embossing powder.
The swallowtail butterfly looks great embossed in any colour.
I have teamed it with buttons from the Sale-a-bration brochure.
This is the original card that I cased.

Spritzer to the rescue

This is the card that I posted on 18th February. I liked what I had stamped (it had been a card that we had made at our last team meeting) but I'm not a great fan of big areas unstamped or not embossed.
So I got my spritzer out and spritzed a little bit of Basic Grey round  the card. I think it looks ok.
